New Line of Solis 75-100K Inverters Offer High Yield, Low Cost Solutions for Commercial & Industrial Applications

Ningbo, China and Dublin, Ohio – Sept. 10, 2020 -- Ginlong Technologies (Stock Code: 300763.SZ), a global leader in photovoltaic string inverter manufacturing, expands its Solis portfolio in the United States and Mexico with a new line of larger inverters for the commercial and industrial market, available in four sizes at 75K, 80K, 90K, and 100K in capacity.

Solis' high yield, low cost inverters are engineered to enable streamlined rooftop installation, saving time and slashing costs for installers with built-in module-level rapid shutdown (MLRS) transmitters. The Solis 75-100K inverters seamlessly embed a rapid shutdown transmitter into the inverter enclosure, avoiding costly connections to external enclosures. The integrated transmitter sends independent signals to each string, ensuring efficient rapid shutdown and compliance with 2017 National Electric Code (NEC). This plug-and-play solution cuts out the time spent on extra wiring during installation.

“Solis designed these commercial scale string inverters to achieve the optimal balance between maximizing power yield and facilitating cost savings throughout the system, without sacrificing safety and reliability,” says Jing Tian, General Manager at Ginlong Solis USA. “These inverters are easy to install, and provide smart operations for maximum performance over the life of the system.”

In addition to streamlined installation, the Solis 75-100K inverters are engineered for maximum power yield and best value, with smart operations features including:

•Maximum efficiency of 99% for 90K and 100K products, 98.7% for 75K and 80K

•Designed to accommodate up to a 150% DC to AC load ratio, allowing for greater production in low light conditions

•Supports Power Line Communication (PLC), avoiding the cost of installing communications cables(optional)

•Supports 2-in-1 Y connectors, providing cost savings of up to 20% for installed DC cabling

•Larger AC terminal supports aluminum AC cabling, reducing AC cabling costs up to 50% over copper

•Maximum usable input current of 26A is compatible with bi-facial modules

•Precise maximum power point tracker (MPPT) algorithm minimizes shading effect

•Integrated smart I/V curve scanning helps detect string faults such as panel mismatch and shading

•Remote control features such as firmware upgrades, power on/off, and modifications to the grid code

•Fuse-less 2 string MPPT design reduces operations and maintenance costs

Solis – 15 Years On

2020 might be a year most firms would like to forget, but for Ginlong Solis, the global inverter manufacturer, the year remains a key milestone on the firm's journey to an ever-growing role in the global solar market. This year marks the firms 15th year of operations, a journey every stakeholder can look back on with pride. From small beginnings in Ningbo, one of China's oldest historical cities in Zhejiang province, Ginlong (Solis) has today grown to be a global string inverter major; or tier 1 firm as the industry jargon goes. It has a 5 GW production capacity that is set to be expanded to 20 GW by 2021-22. With 15 GW of global deliveries behind it, the firm today has over $200m in assets, and a 1000 strong global workforce with 200 plus technicians. To everyone's surprise, Solis's oversea sales revenue is still showing great strength despite the COVID-19 pandemic; which could be called a miracle. The financial reports showed that the company's half-year operating
